NU Wave is a Melbourne-based concept shop for Xennials – the micro-generation with an analog childhood and digital adulthood. As technology evolves, NU Wave seeks to satisfy the surging appetite for the tactile characteristics of the analog experience.

Nu means modern or existing in a different form from the past, deriving from the Greek “nu or nv” which stands for the frequency of a wave. Waves transfer energy from one location to another. While digital waves are stepping, square, and finite; analog waves are smooth and infinite – echoing the infinite nature of human creativity.
